SUMMER PHOTO CHALLENGE

Go out and explore new art around you, then share your experience with us.

This July & August 2015, send us your photos of Public Art Pieces that are not yet in the inventory. Please include the location of the art and any details you can provide regarding the name of the piece, name of the artist, etc. A winner will be selected in early September. Enjoy the warm summer rays by taking a few photos with Lincoln’s Art. Our only guideline is that you keep your photos family-friendly and to have fun as you experience the public art in our community!

Early one morning at Oak Lake, I caught this Blue Herring with his breakfast (cat-fist or bullhead) in his beak. He was just beginning to raise his wings to fly to a more suitable spot to eat his fish as I took the photo. The photo has not been altered, all natural lighting.

As one of my favorite aspects of the Haymarket, this Train is a must see for anyone visiting the capital city. It’s absolutely beautiful.
