Sculpture located at Cooper Park by Nebraska Artist Sondra L. Johnson.
This sculpture was acquired as reminiscent of Dorothy and Toto from the Wizard of Oz. I understand that Cooper Park is Lincoln’s oldest city park, and was once the site of a William Jennings Bryan presidential campaign rally. Bryan and Frank Baum (author of “the Wizard of Oz”) were friends, thus the relevance of locating this sculpture in Cooper Park.
